What AngelSift does

AngelSift produces analysis from the materials you give it: a scored workup on a pitch deck, and a check of wire instructions against a counterparty record you keep. It is decision support. It is not investment advice, an offer, or a solicitation, and no output is a recommendation to invest or to decline.

Your account

Give us accurate information when you create an account, keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has them. Access during the beta is by invitation. You must be 18 or older to use AngelSift. An account is for you, not for sharing or resale. If you use AngelSift for a company or fund, you accept these terms for it as well, and confirm you have the authority to do so.

Your materials

Decks and details you upload stay yours. You're responsible for making sure you're allowed to share what you upload. You give us just enough license to process them to provide the service to you: producing your workup, and letting Angel find and quote them when you ask about that deal. We don't sell or train on them, and we share them only with the service providers the privacy policy names.

The wire check

The wire-instruction check evaluates only the details you enter against the counterparty records you've saved. It does not connect to, monitor, hold, stop, or move funds in any account. Verifying and sending a payment stays your act, on your bank's rails.

Email access

Gmail and Outlook connections are read-only. You authorize the service to search a connected email account for evidence related to company details you confirmed and to save relevant messages with a deal. You can disconnect or revoke access at any time.

What we ask

Don't probe or bypass access controls, upload files meant to damage the service, misrepresent who you are, or use a workup to mislead others.

The beta

This is early software. Workups can be wrong or incomplete, features will change, and availability isn't guaranteed. Anything described as in development is not available yet, and we label it that way.

Paying for workups

A workup is one complete scored review of one deck, one pipeline review, or one comparison of deals. A pack or plan gives you a number of workups. A workup that fails or ends “Not enough to score” doesn't use one up. That includes your free first workup. A monthly plan is charged each month whether or not you use its workups. Running the same deck again spends another workup. You can buy workups as a one-time pack or as a monthly plan; the pricing page shows what each includes and what it costs. Your first workup is free. Before it starts, you add a card, which is not charged. You pay on our payment processor's checkout page. AngelSift never sees or stores your card number.

Renewal, cancelling and refunds

A monthly plan renews each month until you cancel it. You can cancel any time from the plan page in Settings, and you keep access to the end of the period you have paid for. A workup you have used is delivered work, so it isn't refunded, and there are no partial refunds for a period you have started, with one exception. If your plan's price goes up and you cancel within 14 days after the first charge at the new price, ask us and we'll refund the unused part of that period. The free first workup has nothing to refund.

Prices

Current prices, and any founding offer, are shown on the pricing page. A monthly plan bought at a founding price keeps that price for as long as it stays subscribed without a break. A payment our payment processor is still retrying is not a break, and switching between monthly plans keeps you on founding prices. Cancel, or let the plan end unpaid, and the founding price ends with it; a new plan later is at the price of the day. When we change a plan's price, we email you at least 7 and no more than 30 calendar days before the new price applies. The email states the new price, the date it starts, and how to cancel. A price change never applies to a period you have already paid for. Pack workups never expire. Deleting your workspace ends any unused workups. Plan workups are included each billing period; unused workups carry forward for up to three months and then lapse, and nothing is refunded for lapsed workups. Each paid workup includes 20 chat messages, and the free first workup includes 5. A fair-use ceiling applies to chat and is never billed.

Where we sell, and what we do not verify

We sell to customers in the United States. AngelSift does not verify anyone's status as an accredited investor and is not a verification service. Whether you may invest, and the paperwork that goes with it, stay with you.

Your decisions

You make the investment decisions, and outcomes are yours. We aren't liable for losses from relying on a workup. The product exists to inform your judgment, not replace it.

Limits on what we owe

Ending an account

You can delete your workspace from Settings, or write to us and we'll do it; your materials are deleted as the privacy policy describes. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms. We can also suspend access to protect customer data, comply with law, or stop abuse. When an account closes, access ends; bulk export is not available today, so save any records you need before asking us to delete them.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We email you at least 14 days before a change that affects you takes effect, and the date on this page changes. Using AngelSift after the change takes effect means you accept it, and we may also ask you to accept the new terms before you continue. If you don't accept a change, stop using AngelSift and cancel any plan. A change never applies to a dispute that started before it. Price changes follow the notice under Prices.

Which law applies

Florida law governs these terms and any dispute about AngelSift, without regard to rules that would apply another state's law. Any such dispute is decided in the state or federal courts in Florida, and you and we agree to those courts.
